Travel and Visa

Brazil maintains a fully reciprocal visa policy. Please check what apply for your citizenship at the Immigration division office:

Since the information on the letter for Visa application depends on citizenship, this document will be provided by the conference organization upon request. The ICORS2016 organizers advise you to apply for your visa as early as possible, at least 3 months prior to the conference.

VERY IMPORTANT: For the occasion of the Olympic Games, the Brazilian government made a decision that citizens from Australia, Canada, United States and Japan do not need a visa for visiting Brazil AS TOURISTS from June 1st, 2016 up to September 18th, 2016. However, we advise that above-mentioned citizens must contact a Brazillian Emabassy in your country in order to check if this eligibility is extended for attending conference. Exhibitors, on the other hand, who bring materials for an exhibit booth, must state that the primary purpose for their visit is for business and they DO NEED A BUSINESS VISA for attending the conference.
